To sleep no problem with skin color, gender or marital status or eat. Each hotel or restaurant you will be welcome. Even with the places to visit. Check hotels in Isla Verde or Condado area is basically your budget and your preferences, decide where they remain.
have to rent a car? otherwise or the Old San Juan County area is the best bet.It 'SA tourist area, taxis have a flat rate for most attractions.
